The recently reopened East Building at the National Gallery of Art is perfect for endless indoor walks. My favorite works are Mark Rothko’s and Paul Newman’s oversized modern expressionist canvases, Katharina Fritsch’s giant chicken statue, “Hahn/Cock” and the cubist Picassos.
